Krista and Richard fell in love in Buffalo, New York, where the two live. Richard knew that they had something special when he realized that he wasn’t being as awkward as usual. Krista brings out the best side of him. Although Richard isn’t one for grand romantic gestures, Krista loves that he shows her how much he loves her with little acts of kindness all throughout the day.
The two love New Orleans and visit often, so as soon as Richard proposed, they knew they wanted to have a destination wedding in the French Quarter. Krista and Richard visited six months ago for their engagement session and just being in New Orleans made the pair giddy with excitement for their destination wedding. When the big day was finally here, the two said “I do” at the Henry Howard Mansion. Krista looked radiant in a beautiful gown with floral lace detailing from Dalia’s Bridal. The newlyweds took to Jackson Square to capture some incredible moments in the French Quarter and then joined their closest friends and family at Muriel’s on Jackson Square to celebrate their love.
