Sally and Michael got married on a cool November evening in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. The night started off with the groom and his guys hitting Saturn Bar for some pre-wedding drinks, while the bride and her ladies got ready. Everyone came together for the ceremony at a beautiful mansion on Esplanade Avenue in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. The backyard was filled with the smiling supporting faces of all of Sally and Michael’s closest family and friends. Once the I do’s were said, Michael and Sally grabbed their feather-lined umbrellas and paraded through the Treme followed by a brass band and all of their guests to celebrate in true New Orleans style.
Sally and Michael’s love story started with a lunch date, dancing, and drinks on the Lakefront. Sally quickly fell for how kind, loving and generous Michael is, and Michael couldn’t resist her hugs and selflessness. They’ve continued writing their story all over the country, from Key West all the way up to Buffalo, where Michael grew up. Coincidentally, the Buffalo Bills, Michael’s team, played the Saints, Sally’s team, in New Orleans the weekend of their wedding! But let’s get back to the love story. Michael proposed to Sally at Adolfo’s on Frenchmen Street the day before Valentine’s day. He sneakily dropped down onto one knee while Sally was snapping pictures of her food. The surprise was a success and she said yes. We’re so happy for Michael and Sally and we can’t wait to see them thrive in married life.
