Mallory and Jacob’s big day started with Mallory getting ready with all of her favorite women. Mallory’s mom helped her slip into her beautiful, airy wedding gown from David’s Bridal. The final touch to the bride’s romantic look was a trailing veil with delicate vine detailing. While the girls spritzed the final perfume sprays and dabbed the last bits of blush, Jacob was getting ready with his family and groomsmen. He looked modern and handsome in his royal blue tuxedo from Tuxedos to Geaux. Once everyone was looking their best, it was time to say “I do” at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. The pale stonework and blue vintage stained glass of the church complemented the young couple’s wedding looks perfectly. After the “I do’s” and infinite congratulations from Mallory and Jacob’s closest friends and family, it was time to head to the Magnolia Wedding and Events venue to celebrate the pair. They danced, they laughed, they ate a delicious Haydel’s Bakery cake, and they finished the night off with a classic New Orleans second line complete with feather umbrellas.
