For Macie & Hayden’s engagement session, we headed to a sunset-soaked Crescent Park in the Bywater area of New Orleans. The pair were surrounded by beautiful palmettos, purple and orange Pampas grass and reeds galore as they held hands moving through the park. The golden light of the sunset pierced through the New Orleans skyline and wrapped around them, throwing shadows against walls and floors and creating a cinematic mood that reflects the colorful and bold relationship they have.
Hayden proposed to Macie on her birthday in front of their friends and families. Everyone was singing her Happy Birthday. This was the perfect moment, all eyes were on her and she was distracted enough that Hayden could sneak behind her and surprise her. He was so excited that he forgot everything he wanted to tell her. Luckily, he didn’t forget the most important part, “Will you marry me?” Macie’s answer was of course yes!
We had so much fun during their session we went for Bratz and Beers after the sun went down and the session was over. We loved connecting with Macie & Hayden and cannot wait to be a part of their wedding in 2022!
