This City Park New Orleans engagement session with Seth & Hanna was filled with some beautiful scenery and lots of history. We started with a stroll through century-old live oaks and along the banks of the bayou where French pirate Jean Lafitte used to operate during the late 1700s. As we continued wandering through the sunset and along a pavilion lined with endless pink roses we found ourselves lying in the grass looking up towards the dreamy vanilla skies as if we were in a scene from “Emily in Paris”. There were kisses in front of this glowing sunset and a powdered sugar ending over beignets in one of the oldest establishments in New Orleans “Café Du Monde”
Seth proposed to Hanna around Christmas time. Illuminated by the soft glow of Christmas lights, he dropped down to one knee, marking the beginning of the rest of their lives. Seth and Hanna had met four years prior as counselors at a summer camp. In a possible paternal plot, Seth’s dad asked Hanna if she was good with kids and wanted to be a camp counselor for the summer. She agreed and that’s where she met Seth–nice work, dad. Hanna immediately caught Seth’s eye and he was determined to get to know her more. They got closer and closer that summer and both knew this was it, this was who they wanted to be with. Anyone that hears them talk about each other would certainly know as well. Hanna describes Seth as hardworking, caring, and selfless, always helping others and putting smiles on their faces. Seth loves how kind-hearted and thoughtful Hanna is, whether she’s surprising him with concert tickets, or teaching her students. We can’t wait to be a part of their wedding in December 2022.
